We own, drive and tune our own vehicles. Some tuners out there don't have a shop, don't own a dyno, don't pick up the phone and don't even drive Ford Vehicles. Ask yourself how they test and develop tunes.

Unleash the Beast: The 2018-23 Mustang GT 5.0L V8 Coyote Exterior

The Heart of the Stallion: Third-Gen Coyote Power

When it was announced that the S197 Ford Mustang was getting a new 5.0L “Coyote” V8 back in 2011, gearheads everywhere rejoiced. Born from Ford’s Modular Motor family, the 5.0L Coyote engine brought back the legendary 5.0L designation, along with a hefty dose of performance. But Ford didn’t rest on its laurels. Nope, Blue Oval engineers hunkered down at their drafting tables, and soon the Mustang received a fresh version of the Coyote for its sixth-generation S550 era. And just a bit later, the 5.0L Coyote underwent its third update for the 2018 Mustang GT. This third-gen Coyote 5.0L arrived with direct injection, a revised cam profile, and a host of other tweaks.
