Shipping Policy

MPT is proud to offer free shipping on most orders over $149.

  • Free shipping applies only to the contiguous United States. Shipping and handling charges will apply to orders outside the contiguous US, and the buyer is responsible for any duty fees or taxes their home country may charge to import goods.
  • With free shipping, we will choose the best shipping method for your order. We use all major carriers, including USPS, FedEx, UPS, and DHL.

Turnaround Times:

  • MPT Tunes have a standard turnaround time of 2-3 business days, beginning once we receive your MPT Tune Form.
  • We do not process orders on weekends or observed holidays, which do not count as business days.
  • Physical items that are in stock at MPT and ordered by 4PM EST will be shipped the same day. Orders placed after 4PM EST will be processed on the following business day.

Special Considerations:

  • Items not stocked at our location will follow the same processing times but may experience lead-time delays and could incur additional charges. Shipping methods may vary for these items based on what was paid and the requested delivery speed. If you need an item by a specific deadline, please contact an MPT Expert.
  • SCT Tuner Orders with the Prioritized Order option must have their tune forms submitted by 3PM EST to be completed the same day. Forms submitted after this time will be processed the next business day.
  • Orders will ship to the billing address listed on your order. If paying by credit or debit card, we can only ship to the billing address. Contact an MPT Expert for assistance if you need a different shipping address.

MPT Performance Returns and Refund Policy

  • A Return Authorization Number (RA #) is required for all returns. Please contact an MPT Expert to obtain an RA# before sending anything back.
  • MPT tuning charges and license fees are non-refundable. The sale is final once MPT has sent the tune file via email, which applies to both new tune purchases and tune updates.

Returnable Products:

  • Products (other than MPT Tunes) may be returned within 30 days as long as they have not been installed and are in brand new, unused condition with original packaging. Installed products are non-refundable. MPT reserves the right to deny a return if the product shows signs of installation or damage.
  • Vehicle programmers/tuners that have loaded a tune onto a vehicle cannot be returned.

Refund Amounts:

  • Returns postmarked within 15 days of receipt will be refunded the purchase price minus the shipping cost MPT paid.
  • Returns postmarked between 16 and 30 days will be refunded the purchase price minus a 25% restocking fee and the shipping cost.
  • After 30 days, all sales are final.

Non-Refundable Items:

  • Shipping charges and any package insurance are non-refundable. If free shipping was applied to your purchase, the actual shipping cost will be subtracted from your refund.
  • HP Tuners Credits are non-refundable once they’ve been assigned to a device’s serial number, which occurs either during the purchase or upon completing the tune form.
  • Digital products like SCT Tuner Unlocks, HP Tuners Credits, or MPT Tunes cannot be refunded.
  • Decals/Stickers are non-refundable once received by the customer.

What MPT tunes are available for the Gen2 18-21 Expedition Ecoboost 3.5L?

MPT PR-X Tune

Available for E-85*, E-50, E-30, 93 Octane, 91 Octane and 87 Octane

This is the 100HP+ Tune. PR-X, also known as Performance Race X-treme, is our top-performance tune for the Ecoboost Trucks. (Read More)

On 93 octane, this is a routine 100hp gain over stock to the wheels. On E85, the gains can be 200HP over stock. That part depends more on the truck and setup. *To Run full E-85, and upgraded fuel system is required.

This is by far the preferred tune on this truck due to the ridiculous power gains over stock. The truck feels so much lighter with the increased throttle response and part throttle boost. Wide open throttle boost is increased over stock by +/- 15% which equals out to around 3/5 psi, depending on the rpm. Peak boost is around 20psi +/-. That's on stock turbos.

If you are running aftermarket turbos, we can run a few extra psi. This will be determined during our 1 on 1 data logging process while we dial in your tune based on your individual goals.

We also do some cool stuff with the Ford Anti-Lag features. We can make the Raptor anti-lag enabled in different drive modes and perform better than stock. Then on the Expedition, it's disabled from the factory, but we can turn it on and let it rip, Raptor style.

With this tune you are looking at huge increases in low end torque and acceleration, faster 0-60 times, quicker 1/4 mile results, shift points optimized with a focus on performance.

The shift points in normal mode will hit all 10 gears, with downshifts tightened up putting you in the right gear at the right time. This means power to the wheels when the driver demands it.

Sport Mode and Tow Haul mode retain most all of the positive features from Ford with minor tweaks to improve over all feel.

What about drive modes?

First of all, all driving modes are retained. We do some MPT specific changes to each individual mode. Normal drive mode gets an impressive boost in throttle response and feel, but click to Sport mode and this improvement is multiplied. Sport mode has a noticeable increase in throttle response above that of the already increased base mode.

Available with both MPT Transmission Tuning (No Extra Charge) or Factory OEM Transmission Tuning. This tune has all the benefits of the above PR-X but has the trans setup very mild for those that prefer the stock feeling shifts of the truck.

Please Note:We do not recommend towing with the PR-X tune installed. All towing or hauling must be done with a Daily-Tow Tune or after returning to the stock tune


MPT Daily-Tow Tune

Available for E-85*, E-50, E-30, 93 Octane, 91 Octane and 87 Octane

Daily-Tow is our performance/towing hybrid tune for the Gen2 Ecoboost Trucks. (Read More)

The Daily-Tow tune is a step down from PR-X. Designed to be a performance tune and a towing tune hybrid the main difference is the peak boost. Peak boost is lower than PR-X but we were able to keep most of the improvements from PR-X. Throttle response and part throttle boost is still a drastic improvement over stock. This tune can be referred to as the "Street" or "Daily Driver" tune with a focus on all around performance but not so much that it is no longer a good idea to tow with it.

Available with both MPT Transmission Tuning (No Extra Charge) or OEM Factory Shifting. This tune has all the benefits of the above Daily-Tow tune above but has the trans setup very mild for those that prefer the stock feeling shifts of the truck.


MPT Adaptive Any Octane Auto Adjust Tune

This tune can be used with any octane fuel, the concept behind this tune is to take the improved shifting and performance of the PR-X tune but rather than focusing on one specific power level and making it the best, this tune expands on the Ford factory auto adjust features. Detecting the level of octane fuel in the tank and adjusting desired boost and power output on the fly. There will be a noticeable difference but definitely not as much as PR-X or Daily-Tow tunes. Throttle response and part throttle acceleration will still have a noticeable increase over stock.

Available with both MPT Transmission Tuning (No Extra Charge) or No Trans Tuning. This tune has all the benefits of the above tune above but has the trans setup very mild for those that prefer the stock feeling shifts of the truck.


Fuel Octane Matters

Gas vehicle tunes are heavily impacted by the octane of fuel being used. If you want power, run higher octane.

Running a higher octane allows us to advance the spark more which results in better performance. That being said, you should pick tunes for the octane you plan on running. If you always have and always will run 87-89 octane, then that is what you should choose. You can run a tune for 87-89 octane and fill the tank with 93, however you cannot run a tune for 93 octane and fill up with 87-89. Doing so will result in knock activity, a loss of power output and in rare cases, possible engine damage. Our recommendation for performance tunes is to run the highest octane available. This is especially important on a turbo vehicle.

The E30 and E50 versions of tunes are designed to be used with a mixture of E85 and premium fuel. Combined mixture can be up to E50.

For mixtures greater than E50 on the gen2, upgrades are required. Full E85 is possible with an upgrade fuel system.
