Most Fords will be built with a specific set of available Axle Ratio options available from the factory. Mustangs, F150's and other Fords can have their axle ratio easily identified by reading the sticker on the inside of the driver's side door jamb. It will look like the image below:
To find out what your axle code is based on your door jamb sticker, just locate the axle code on the sticker and compare it to the table below.
