How to Claim Your MPT Tunes

Thank you for choosing MPT! We are grateful for your support and are excited to help you reach your power goals. This page will guide you through the next steps in becoming #MPTTuned.

Gathering Vehicle Info

Select the tuner being used:

SCT X4 - 7015 or SCT BDX - 40490

      1. Connect tuner to vehicle's OBD-II port.
      2. Use the Down arrow to scroll to Vehicle Info, then push the center button to select it.
      3. Follow the on-screen prompt to cycle the key.
        • Push-to-start vehicles, push the ignition 1 time without holding it.
      4. Take note of the vehicle's ECU/PCM strategy and the last 8 digits of the VIN number.

• Ford ECU/PCM strategies are 7-digit codes (ex: PKHR2C5)
• Non-US vehicles may display the longer ECU/PCM SWPN code as the strategy (ex: LL3A-14C204-LD)

SCT Livewire TS+ - 5015P

      1. Connect the Livewire TS to vehicle's OBD-II port.
      2. Swipe left on the touchscreen, or tap the arrow to the right.
      3. Follow the on-screen prompt to cycle the key.
        • Push-to-start vehicles, push the ignition 1 time without holding it.
      4. Take note of the vehicle's ECU/PCM strategy and the last 8 digits of the VIN number.

What you will need:

      • MPT Order Number
      • Serial Number of the SCT Tuner
      • Basic info on vehicle being tuned
      • VIN of vehicle being tuned
      • List of any modifications (if any)

      • If anything needs to be added/changed, email sales@morepowertuning.com or give us a call, and we will change it for you.
      • Standard turnaround time to have tunes built is 2-3 business days.
      • If you paid for Rush My Tunes, standard turnaround is 24 hours, or next business day.
      • Tunes are worked on in the order they are submitted.
      • Tunes will be emailed to you upon completion.
      • Step-by-step instructions on loading your tunes will be included in the email with your files.
