CONFIG FILE DOWNLOAD The on-device config file listed above is downloaded as a ".zip" file(folder). You have to "unzip" this file before transferring it to the tuner.
- Download the config file.
- Open the zipped config, then drag the .dlx file from the zipped folder to a new location.
- Use Device Updater's "Transfer File to Device" button, then select browse and choose the .dlx file from where you saved it.
Step 2. At the Vehicle
Once
in the vehicle, plug the tuner into the
OBDII port.
Enter the datalog menu with the vehicle running
Select the MPT config file. If you don't see it, it might be listed as
NA.
The gauges will display and you can begin driving.

At the Vehicle:
- Connect tuner to OBDII
- Select Gauges/Datalog
- Follow Key-On prompt
- Select MPT config. Currently it is displayed as NA due to a bug in Livelink. Then Continue
- Tuner will display gauges
Step 3. Record the Log
Press the center button and select
Start DatalogYou'll see a circle in the middle of the screen with
REC displayed
Perform the log as instructed, normally
3rd gear WOT for 6 speed or 5th gear WOT for 10 speed or Quarter MileWhen complete, Press center button and select

Types of Datalogs
- If working with a calibrator, you will likely have specifc instructions on what log to record.

Issue Capture - If you have something specific you want reviewed, that is what to record.

3rd Gear WOT (for 6 speed)- Use M driving mode to lock in 3rd gear, Go wide open throttle from 2,000-6,000 RPMS.

5th Gear WOT (for 10 speed) - Use M driving mode to lock in 5th gear, Go wide open throttle from 2,000-6,000 RPMS.

Quarter-Mile - From a stop, floor it and capture Wide Open Throttle shifting.

Neutral Step Test - In Park/Neutral: Idle 2 min, hold pedal at 500 rpm increments from 1,000-4,000 RPM for 10 seconds each.
Step 4. Email the Log
At the computer, Plug the tuner in and open
LivelinkSelect
Import Data from the top menu in Livelink to save the datalog
Reply to latest email.
Attach Log to email.
Include info on what tune was loaded when logging.

Common Mistakes to Avoid:
Sending email with no info and saved as datalog1 will result in an email back asking for more info and what tune was loaded.
Prevent Delays by saving the file with our preferred naming system and including info in the email.
