GM Stock File Upload Process at the Vehicle:

| Step 1) Connect the programmer to your vehicle’s OBDII port. Step 2) Go to the menu titled “Program Vehicle” and press select. Step 3) Within the “Program Vehicle” menu, go to “Upload Stock” and press select. You’ll be prompted for key on and a copy of your stock file will be stored onto the programmer. |

GM Stock File Upload Process at the Computer:

| Step 1) Next, take the programmer to a computer, but don’t plug it in yet. First we’ll install the software and drivers. Click here for the software: SCT Device Updater Step 2) Connect your programmer to the computer and open the SCT Device Updater program. Step 3) Click on “Get Stock File from Device”. Select your Desktop to save the files. This process will save 2 files: 3GNGK26U6YG229856.sul (Replace example VIN with your VIN.SUL, THIS IS THE FILE WE NEED TO MAKE THE TUNES.) The other file will be your SCT programmer's serial number and another number Saved.bef (BEF) We can't make your tunes without the SUL file, you do not need to email us the BEF file.
