Livelink Missing Items - How To Fix

Prior to Step 1-If you have found that Livelink does not have the items we request in our datalog instructions, you'll want to run through these quick steps to get it fixed. Make sure Livelink is not running. If it is, just close it and then you can take the following steps.

Step 1

Open "This PC" or "My Computer". Once there, open "Program Files (x86)", then open the folder named "SCT". If you don't see this, you may be in the wrong folder. 

Step 2

Open the Livelink Gen-II folder, then find the file named "Livelink". Right-Click on "Livelink" in this folder and in the sub-menu that pops up, select "Properties" 

Step 3

In the Livelink Properties window, select the "Compatibility" tab at the top. Locate and click the check box that says "Run this program as an administrator" next to it. Click "Apply", then "OK". Click "OK" or "Continue" on any warnings that pop up.

That's It!

Start Livelink, you'll see a notification that there is an update. Allow the update to continue, once it is done you'll have to start Livelink again. You can now continue setting up the datalog using the instructions we provide.
