RTD Will Not Resync - Manually Install Drivers

When looking to do various processes with the RTD, you are asked to Resync your interface. The drivers to do this should install automatically when the RTD is plugged in for the first time. Yet, for some computers, this does not happen, and you will be unable to resync. To resolve this issue, you will need to manually install the required drivers.

Step 1:

• Option A - Download the required drivers HERE and then, locate it on your computer.
• Option B - Plug the HP Tuners USB stick that came with your RTD into your computer and locate the file named "CDM21228_Setup".

Step 2:

• Open the "CDM21228_Setup.zip" file

Step 3:

• Run the "CDM21228_Setup.exe" file and follow all prompts.

Step 4:

• With installation of the drivers complete, connect RTD to computer and open RTD Flasher program.

Step 5:

• From the Help menu, select "Resync Interface".

Congratulations, your RTD is now communicating with your computer!
