Sct Serial Number location

Here's a quick guide on how to find your SCT Tuner's serial number

Select your tuner:

SCT X4 - 7015

  • Serial # is located on backside of X4
  • Serial # is located in Device Info menu when X4 is powered on
  • Serial # begins with "X4"
  1. Turn your SCT X4 over so the back is facing you
  2. Located on the sticker, you will find the serial number starting with "X4"
    SCT X4
If the sticker is missing or unreadable, follow the steps below:
  1. Plug SCT X4 into vehicle or computer to power it on
  2. Use down button to highlight Device Info and press the center button
    SCT X4 Power On
  3. Serial number will be listed there, starting with "X4"
    X4 Serial Number

SCT Livewire TS+ - 5015P

  • Serial # is located on backside of Livewire
  • Serial # is located in Device Info menu when Livewire is powered on
  • Serial # begins with "LT"
  1. Turn your SCT Livewire TS over so the back is facing you
  2. Located on the sticker, you will find the serial number starting with "LT"
    SCT Livewire TS
If the sticker is missing or unreadable, follow the steps below:
  1. Plug SCT Livewire TS into vehicle or computer to power it on
  2. Scroll right to 3rd screen and press Device Info
    SCT Livewire TS Power On
  3. Serial number will be listed there, starting with "LT"
    LT Serial number

SCT BDX/Rev-X - 40490/40470AM

  • Serial # is located on back of device under SCT badge.
  • Serial # is located in Device Info menu when BDX/Rev-X is powered on
  • Serial # begins with "BD"
  1. Turn your SCT BDX/Rev-X over so the back is facing you
    SCT BDX/Rev-X
  2. Remove SCT badge to reveal sticker
  3. Located on the sticker, you will find the serial number starting with "BD"
    BD serial number
If the sticker is missing or unreadable, follow the steps below:
  1. Plug SCT BDX/Rev-X into vehicle or computer to power it on
  2. Use down button to highlight Device Info and press the center button
    SCT BDX/Rev-X
  3. Serial number will be listed there, starting with "BD"
    BD Serial Number

SCT X3/SF3 - 3015/3000

  • Serial # is located on backside of X3/SF3
  • Serial # is located in Device Info menu when X3/SF3 is powered on
  • Serial # begins with "X3" or "XP"
  1. Turn your SCT X3/SF3 over so the back is facing you
  2. Located on the sticker, you will find the serial number starting with "X3" or "XP"
    X3 serial number
If the sticker is missing or unreadable, follow the steps below:
  1. Plug SCT X3/SF3 into vehicle or computer to power it on
  2. Use right arrow to highlight Device Info and press select
    SCT X3/SF3 Power On
  3. Serial number will be listed there, starting with "X3" or "XP"
    X3 or XP serial number
