The Addictive Desert Designs IC1650KIT-S High Mount Intercooler Upgrade Kit gives 3.5L EcoBoost F-150 and Raptor owners a stronger, higher-flow intercooler solution designed specifically for trucks running ADD front bumpers, winch setups, and frame-cut bumper configurations. Built around a TIG-welded 18-core intercooler, the system delivers 8.5% more airflow than the closest competing design while relocating the intercooler higher in the front of the truck. A heavy-duty welded steel mounting beam provides the strength needed for demanding street and off-road use while retaining factory sensors and vehicle functions.

Install Difficulty Level

Installation is straightforward for an experienced DIY enthusiast or professional installer and mainly involves removing front-end components, relocating the intercooler, installing the supplied mounting hardware, and reassembling the truck. An experienced installer may complete the job in approximately 2 hours, although Addictive Desert Designs recommends allowing approximately 4 hours and having two people available for the best results. Some trimming and grille shutter removal may be required depending on the vehicle and bumper configuration.
