Proposition 65 (Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986) is a California law that applies to all companies selling products in California. Proposition 65 requires warnings if a product contains any listed chemical present above very low levels that are known to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. Proposition 65’s warning standards are among the most stringent in the world. Proposition 65 is not a product safety law, but rather a “right-to-know” law. Businesses are required to provide warnings to comply with Proposition 65. These warnings are required to be in place for all products offered for sale in California.
There are over 800 chemicals on the Proposition 65 list, which is administered by California's Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA), a part of the California Environmental Protection Agency. The list includes naturally occurring and man-made chemicals. Proposition 65 warnings can be seen for a wide variety of everyday consumer products, including Automotive Performance products, and warnings can be seen posted throughout California in a variety of establishments such as hotels, restaurants, automobile dealerships/repair shops, and retail stores just to name a few.
To comply with the requirements of Proposition 65, this warning is present on all products sold by MPT.

The HP Tuners PROLINK+ Cable gives serious tuners the ability to bring external sensor data and CAN-bus information directly into an MPVI2+, MPVI3 or MPVI4 interface. This accessory expands data-logging capability far beyond standard OBD-II parameters, making it ideal for anyone looking to monitor wideband AFR, boost pressure, MAP output or custom CAN-bus channels during tuning, diagnostics or performance testing. Designed as a dependable add-on, it offers clean integration, high-resolution sampling and reliable performance for enthusiasts who want complete insight into what their vehicle is doing.
Two dedicated 0-5 V analog inputs for external sensors such as wideband AFR, MAP or boost sensors.
One CAN-bus input for monitoring high-speed CAN data (500 kbps).
High-resolution data-logging with up to 100 Hz sampling rate on analog inputs.
M8 connector with durable 5-wire harness for straightforward wiring.
Compatible with MPVI2+ (Pro Feature Set required), MPVI3 and MPVI4 interfaces.
Fully supported by VCM Scanner software: channels can be added for external analog inputs and CAN-bus via the Channels list.
Enables topping off tuning and diagnostics efforts by capturing data outside the factory ECU parameters—perfect for performance builds, track use or serious diagnostics.
Combines external sensor readings and CAN-bus data into the HP Tuners interface, reducing clutter and making data logging cleaner and more organized.
Works seamlessly with VCM Scanner: after wiring the external sensor or CAN-bus lines, the channel can be added via External Inputs → MPVI2/MPVI3/MPVI4 → Pro Link/Pro Link+, then transformed into usable sensor data.
Broad compatibility means one investment covers current and future MPVI hardware generations, offering excellent value for Ford EcoBoost and other performance platforms.
Backed by HP Tuners’ limited one-year hardware warranty.

Part Number: H021-002-06
Inputs: Two analog 0-5 V channels and one CAN-bus channel (500 kbps)
Sampling Rate: Up to 100 Hz on analog inputs
Connector: M8 4-pin to 5-wire harness (black = ground, red = analog1, blue = analog2, orange = CAN high, yellow = CAN low)
Color / Housing: Black molded cable jacket with rugged automotive-grade connector
Compatible Interfaces: MPVI2+ (with Pro Feature Set), MPVI3, MPVI4
Warranty: Limited one-year hardware warranty (defects in materials/workmanship)
Intended Use: External sensor and CAN-bus data acquisition through HP Tuners MPVI interfaces
Installation is straightforward for anyone who has done basic wiring or sensor installs. Typical setup involves: wiring the sensor outputs and ground to the harness (and/or CAN wires to the CAN bus), plugging the cable into the MPVI interface, then connecting the interface to your vehicle and computer. In VCM Scanner, add the channel via External Inputs and apply a transform if needed. Expect about 30 minutes from start to ready for logging in a standard install.
The PROLINK+ Cable isn’t vehicle specific in the normal sense—it works with any vehicle supported by the MPVI2+, MPVI3 or MPVI4 interface and the HP Tuners software ecosystem. Fitment is determined by the supported interface rather than specific vehicles. This makes the cable suitable for a wide range of modern performance vehicles (including popular Ford EcoBoost platforms and others).
