Proposition 65 (Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986) is a California law that applies to all companies selling products in California. Proposition 65 requires warnings if a product contains any listed chemical present above very low levels that are known to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. Proposition 65’s warning standards are among the most stringent in the world. Proposition 65 is not a product safety law, but rather a “right-to-know” law. Businesses are required to provide warnings to comply with Proposition 65. These warnings are required to be in place for all products offered for sale in California.
There are over 800 chemicals on the Proposition 65 list, which is administered by California's Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA), a part of the California Environmental Protection Agency. The list includes naturally occurring and man-made chemicals. Proposition 65 warnings can be seen for a wide variety of everyday consumer products, including Automotive Performance products, and warnings can be seen posted throughout California in a variety of establishments such as hotels, restaurants, automobile dealerships/repair shops, and retail stores just to name a few.
To comply with the requirements of Proposition 65, this warning is present on all products sold by MPT.

I installed mine on a 2017 Expedition. Just had to bend the bracket and drill a hole where I wanted to mount it. Even after the first 500 miles it already picked up a good amount of what looked like coffee with a touch of milk. Very glad I purchased. MPT was very fast shipping. If you're on the fence, do it. It can only help and easy install.
Everything fits as expected. High quality machine work and it catches a lot more oil than I expected, glad that’s not going into my intake now. Thanks !
I’ve heard debates on if catch cans work on the coyote even though it’s not turbocharged. Well it does. Two days into having this catch can on for mixed driving with my 93PRX tune and I have noticeable oil in the can that I’m glad did not make it to my intake and combustion chamber. Seems to be running smoother too.
Install was simple and easy. Mounted mine on upper firewall area where there was an extra ground bolt screw sticking out. JLT provided bolt fit perfect. Theres a few different mounting ways though, so everyone has options. After about 1k miles on the JLT I checked it and it had a small amount in the bottom, maybe 5 drops of oil, so it's doing its job. Only problem though is if you wan to keep the factory engine cover on you will have to hack it up a bit to fit over the new JLT lines. I just opted to leave mine off all together.
I just installed this 2 weeks ago and drove my truck about 1000-1500 km and it has caught about .5 oz!!! About 900km was highway driving at 110-120 km/hr. I can't believe how much oil goes into the intake.
Purchased item for 2017 Ford Fusion Sport (2.7). Made simple modifications. Works perfectly. Have pictures of installed item. Can send pictures if you would like to see them.
