Proposition 65 (Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986) is a California law that applies to all companies selling products in California. Proposition 65 requires warnings if a product contains any listed chemical present above very low levels that are known to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. Proposition 65’s warning standards are among the most stringent in the world. Proposition 65 is not a product safety law, but rather a “right-to-know” law. Businesses are required to provide warnings to comply with Proposition 65. These warnings are required to be in place for all products offered for sale in California.
There are over 800 chemicals on the Proposition 65 list, which is administered by California's Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA), a part of the California Environmental Protection Agency. The list includes naturally occurring and man-made chemicals. Proposition 65 warnings can be seen for a wide variety of everyday consumer products, including Automotive Performance products, and warnings can be seen posted throughout California in a variety of establishments such as hotels, restaurants, automobile dealerships/repair shops, and retail stores just to name a few.
To comply with the requirements of Proposition 65, this warning is present on all products sold by MPT.

this thermostat is really good for dropping your cylinder head temps by at least 25 to 30 degrees. before upgrading to this thermostat the cylinder temps were getting to about 205 to 208F with the OEM Stat. when upgraded to the Mishimoto Thermostat the temps now on the cylinder head temps are getting to 174 to 178F while driving. once you have the car sit your cylinder temp will go up wich the max i have seen here in texas so far was 190f. but once you start moving again it cools right back down. however depending on where you live and etc your fuel consumption might increase due to cooler temps. however i would recommend if anyone is looking for cooler temps if you live in a hot state and also you can use this in cooler state as well. just remember where ever you live and if its cold out like 20 to 30 degrees it will take your engine a little longer to warm up and do expect fuel consumption to increase when in colder weather.
Truck runs a little cooler. Make sure you get a quarter inch universal with a 4 to 6 extension for your ratchet, put a little electrical tape on the universal so its not all loose squirrely. You do not need to disconnect anything or mess with the belt. You'll get a little coolant on the pullys and belt..... rinse with water. While you're running the engine to refill the coolant, spray the hose and belt down with some break cleaner and water. She'll squeal a bit till she dries up but it'll stop. If you drop one of the thermostat bolts (that rear bolt will get off on you), chances are it'll get caught by the skid plate. Drop the whole plate, look there.
Very easy to install. Like 20 min easy with basic hand tools. The only issue was the o-ring was too large (diameter) to fit in the well. Used original and it's fine. I drained the radiator first and didn't spill a drop of fluid when I removed the thermostat housing. Had to replace about a gallon of fluid.
