Prioritized Order Upgrade - Preload MPT Tunes to SCT Device

I’m amazed with the power from my 93 prx tune and love the 87 prx tune as well, customer service is amazing and I would definitely recommend any ecoboost owner to you guys!

MPT Team = absolutely legit! 100% proven with a completely resurrected ‘18 5.0 V8. Trucks with such a ridiculously aggressive offset, tire size and this much clearance simply aren’t supposed to respond, run and PERFORM this niiiiiicely!

WAY more juice than expected, no exaggeration. Immediately heard and felt a cleaner, healthier run overall. Also, while not even close to a priority for me, most surprising was a significant fuel efficiency bump after having dropped off post-lift, wheels/tires……that difference was far more real than anticipated.

Lastly, the guys are simply professional, they’ll answer, return an actual phone call and take the time to talk through what’s best for your truck. It is evident that they enjoy their craft…….good, honest guys that’ll stand behind what they do and have fun sharing their knowledge.

Upgrade for the 3.7L Cyclone – MPT 93 PR-X Review
​"I recently flashed my 2011–2014 Mustang V6 with the MPT 93 PR-X tune, and the difference is truly night and day. If you’re driving a 6-speed manual, you know the factory tune feels like it’s holding the car back—lazy throttle response, that annoying rev hang between shifts, and noticeable 'dead spots' in the power band.
​The Transformation:
Immediately after loading the PR-X tune, the car felt 'awake' for the first time. The drive-by-wire lag is completely gone; the second you touch the gas, the car reacts. For a manual driver, this makes rev-matching and downshifting significantly more precise and rewarding. The engine now pulls hard all the way to the redline without that flat feeling in the mid-range.
​Performance & Feel:
It’s not just about the extra horsepower and torque (which you definitely feel in your seat), but how the car carries itself. It feels 'lighter' and much more athletic. The power delivery is linear and aggressive where it needs to be, making the 3.7L feel more like a sports car and less like a commuter.
​Customer Support:
I did run into a minor P1639 check engine code (a common 'handshake' glitch on these S197s), but a quick search and a few adjustments on the SCT device cleared it right up.

If you’re on the fence about which tuner to go with, stop looking. MPT is the gold standard for the Cyclone engine. It has completely transformed my driving experience. If you have a manual S197 V6, this is the tune the car should have come with from the factory."

Swapped from SSI utilizing Holley Trinity Ex over to MPT utilizing SCT. Idk why I didn’t go this route to begin with. Both the 87 & 93 PRX tunes are legit. The 87 runs very comfortably but the 93 makes this truck an absolute beast. Both are an absolute compliment to the bolt ons to this point. Super fast shipping. Great customer service. Highly recommend for sure.

I made a mistake. I was with a different tuning company when I upgraded my truck. Ew. That particular company had terrible communication, amd trying to contact them made them mad. So I got mad. I came to mpt, put in my order for this, an sct tuner and a turbo upgrade tune, and 2 days later I had it installed in my truck amd driving like a bat out of heck! I really appreciated this option for fast tracking the process of dumping that other company, and I appreciate mpt in general fpr their prompt replies and great customer service!

2018 2.7 daily/tow tune. Really like how it shifts through all the gears now and definitely made it run better. The customer service is outstanding.

Extremely pleased with the unleashed power these tunes brought to my truck. Hindsight being 20/20 I'd have only purchased 2 tunes instead of 3 or chosen a different 3rd tune. The trans tuning on the 93 performance extreme tune is phenomenal. Trans shifts smoother than a hot knife thru butter. Highly recommend MPT!

I’m very pleased with the results of the tunes that MPT provided. Completely transformed the driving experience for my 2020 5.0 F150. The guys have all been great to work with too, very knowledgeable, honest and helpful. My only regret is that they don’t do more with the 5.0 platform. If they can do what they did to wake up my N.A. truck on a boosted coyote I can’t imagine how wild it would be with an MPT tuned whipple! I highly recommend checking these guys out. There tunes are dino proven. The throttle response is immediate. You can feel the power difference through the hole rpm. Range.

Was kinda skeptical about getting SCT Tuner with MPT dyno custom tune. But let me tell you night and day difference night and day different, would recommend if your truck is lifted on 35”

I can’t express how much I love this tune and how it really woke up my 2019 Raptor. My truck was sluggish and the trans felt like trash when shifting. Now I’m hanging with single cab 5.0 trucks and dog walking challengers

Had my tunes preloaded into my tuner couldn't be happier thank you everyone. Tuner is so straight forward and simple to use and so small compared to older tuner's I ve had in the past.

I got the tuner with a preloaded 87+ daily/tow for my 2017 Ford Expedition with the 3.5L Ecoboost. I was looking for better throttle response and shift pattern. I got everything I was looking for! The Tiber acts as an OBD2 reader as well so added bonus of diagnostics if you so desire. For the price I am very pleased! Fuel economy stayed about the same, no real difference noted after a month.

98% of driving is highway 65mph and up. Plenty of pep, faster acceleration, shifts smoother but the 6speed auto is trash so take that with a grain of salt.

I like that it made tunning the car really easy, straightforward

Love how the 93 performance tune woke my '17 Raptor up! Even the 93 tow tune is a considerable step up from stock!
